MDOT SHA is seeking a vendor to provide instruction and certification for MDOT SHA employees, ensuring they successfully complete the required training mandated by current OSHA/MOSH regulations related to Rigger Level One and Level Two and Signalperson certifications. The training must meet all requirements outlined in the following regulations: • Code of Maryland Regulation (COMAR) 09.12.26.00 • Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1926.1400 and 1910.180; The training will consist of both classroom and hands-on (practical) instruction and must be conducted by a Crane Institute Certification (CIC)-accredited, nationally recognized certifying and training organization. The training and exams will take place at the Hanover facility located at 7491 Connelley Drive, Hanover, Maryland 21076. The vendor’s bid price must include all associated costs for instructor, travel, classroom materials, and testing materials and proxy. The vendor shall be responsible for: • Verification of CIC Accreditation • Provision of CIC-certified instructors and all necessary training materials • Issuance of Certificates of Completion and wallet cards documenting that students are qualified in Level One and Level Two Rigging and Signaling • Administration of classroom, hands-on and written exams, including all testing materials and equipment • Provision of proctor(s) to oversee and certify the certification exam activities
