The purchase of one, fifty four (54) passenger, diesel, type C Buses to enhance our transportation fleet. Buses must meet the following criteria: Engine: Cummins 6.7 B6 six cylinder engine with a minimum of 220 H.P. engine. Transmission: Allison Automatic transmission 2500 series. Fuel Tanks: 100 gallon tank. Front Axle: No oil hubs (Grease type). Axle Weight: Minimum 10k front springs. Minimum 19.8 rear springs. Minimum Axle Ratio 6.17. Governed of speed 55. Brakes: Full air brakes on all four wheels, with AD-9 air dryer, with electronic stability control. Automatic Meritor slack adjuster on all 4 wheels. Exhaust: Exhaust shall exit through the right side of the bumper through stamped hole. Exhaust shall include a temperature mitigation device to adequately cool exhaust before discharge.
