Joliet Junior College (JJC) requests bids to replace its existing Cisco Nexus 9508 core switch with 2 Cisco Catalyst 9500- 48Y4C switches and implementation services to facilitate the migration from the existing to the new switches. This implementation will establish a dual core architecture along with centralizing management of JJC’s VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) domain. The Scope of Work involves: - Reviewing the current configuration of the Nexus 9508 o 9508 contains two modules each has 48 SFP ports that are 10G capable. - Designing and migrating the configuration to the new Catalyst 9500 switches - Implementing the configuration on the replacement switches - Reviewing the current VTP domain configuration on a standalone switch serving as the VTP server - Transitioning Layer 2 and Layer 3 services—including spanning-tree root, VTP server, EIGRP, and BGP routing configurations—to the new core switches - Testing and validating the new switching configuration
