1. The Vendor will supply plant materials to the Department of Public Works. All plants shall be healthy, vigorous, and free of physical defects, insects, diseases and pathogens. 2. The DPW Commissioner or Designee will place orders for plant material via email or phone. The Vendor will furnish plant materials within five (5) weekdays of notification by the City. If an order requires a longer lead time, the DPW Commissioner or Designee will coordinate with the Vendor to determine the order schedule. 3. Plant materials will usually be picked up by DPW personnel at the Vendor’s site. For large orders, the DPW Commissioner or Designee may request that the Vendor deliver plant materials to the DPW Complex (1 Franey Rd., Somerville MA) or to another location designated by the DPW Commissioner or Designee. 4.
