The Contractor shall: 4.1. Shall ensure the podiatrist is available for an onsite Interview at no cost to the Hospital. 4.2. Once a podiatrist is approved, provide documention required for credentialing or privileging as requested by the Hospital. 4.3. Prior to services starting as scheduled by the Hospital, ensure that approved podiatrists attend an estimated eight (8) hour onsite orientation and training which includes the Hospital’s electronic medical records system. 4.4. Ensure podiatrists perform physical examinations and screening of the feet on a periodic basis. Services shall be provided on site at a minimun of four (4) hours per month at the Hospital Specialty Clinic or on the Units for patients/residents who are referred by the Medical care provider for care. Podiatrists shall provide treatments and perform minor outpatient in-clinic procedures as indicated. 4.5. Services shall be provided to at least sixteen (16) patients per month. 4.6. Work with the Hospital Specialty Clinic to schedule appointments. The Hospital Specialty Clinic will track appointments made for Podiatry services. The Medical Assistant within the Specialty Clinic is the point of contact. The Hospital will provide contact information upon completion of the credentialing process.
