Construction: 1. Must be fully insulated (floor ceiling & walls). Safety: 2. Must be equipped with a minimum of 1 smoke detector. 3. Must be equipped with a minimum of 1 carbon monoxide detector. 4. Must be equipped with a minimum of 1 propane leak detector. 5. Must be equipped with a minimum of one (1) 5lb. fire extinguisher. 6. Must be equipped with a dead bolt lock. Comfort: 7. Must be equipped with non-ducted air conditioning - electric powered. 8. Must be equipped with a forced air furnace - propane powered (minimum of 15K BTU). Electrical: 9. Must contain an enclosed battery box. 10. Must contain a battery disconnect switch. Trailer: 11. Wiring Connector: Must include 7-way RV Electrical Cable (hardwired). 12. Brakes: Must have Electric brakes at each tire on any trailer with a GVWR over 2,000 lbs. and must include a breakaway battery system. 13. Coupler: If less than 5,000 GVWR, 2” ball coupler; if more than 5,000 GVWR, - Pintle ring. 14. All Trailers must be delivered to the DNR – Region 2 Shop (1201 US-2, Grand Rapids, MN 55744). 15. Trailer must meet or exceed all current Minnesota and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
