Visalia Unified School District seeks a design-build entity to produce final designs for, construct, HVAC at Various sites (see attachment A) Project, (the “Project”). The Project is funded through CalSHAPE funds as provided by AB 841 and design-build entities will be required to comply with the requirements of the program. The Project will be constructed at various sites throughout Visalia, CA. See (Exhibit A.) The Project will be a HVAC unit replacement and Energy Management System (EMS) controls hook-up and programming, as needed As set forth herein, the design-build entity will be responsible for the final design and transmission of their final design to the Division of the State Architect (“DSA”), and for obtaining final DSA approval. No construction work shall be performed until the design-build entity receives written approval of the plans, as to the safety of design and construction, from the DSA.
