4.1 Fabricate, and deliver stage draperies, curtains and tracks in accordance with field conditions. 4.2 Flame Retardant: All synthetic fabrics utilized for the curtains hereafter specified shall be inherently flame retardant to conform to all applicable building and safety codes. The specified synthetic velours shall be inherently flame retardant to the extent that the curtain will withstand cleanings without being affected. The Vendor shall provide two original signed and notarized, flameproofing certificates stating the process used, the method of Flame Retardant utilized, the fabric, the color and the yardage. All certificates shall be originated by the firm having done the flameproofing. 4.3 Materials provided: 4.3.1. Forestage (Grand Drapery and Valance) shall be manufactured from one of the following fabrics. Color to be selected by Owner. 4.3.1.1 Fred Krieger Fabric: Epic synthetic velour, 25 ounces per linear yard, 54” wide. 4.3.1.2 Rose Brand: Charisma synthetic velour, 25 ounces per linear yard, 54” wide. 4.3.1.3 Approved equal. 4.3.2 Full Stage Travelers (Mid Stage and Upstage) and Masking Curtains (Legs, Borders, and Side Masking) shall be manufactured from one of the following fabrics. Color: Black. 4.4.2.1 Fred Krieger Fabric: Prism synthetic velour, 22 ounces per linear yard, 62” wide. 4.4.2.2 Rose Brand: Encore synthetic velour, 22 ounces per linear yard, 64” wide. 4.4.2.3 Approved equal. 4.4 Fabrication of all panels shall be a single piece for the entire height of the curtain. No splicing of fabric to achieve a desired length will be acceptable. 4.5 Thread shall be Tex 40 spun polyester for the synthetic fabric curtains and shall be the color of the fabric on which it is used, both in the needle and in the bobbin. The thread shall not be lighter than #16 in size.
