Vendor to supply all materials, equipment and labor to replace existing loose fill play area with poured-in-place rubber surfacing at Laurel Park in St. Peters (3000 McClay Valley Blvd.). Project to be completed within 90 calendar days, after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Project Specifications: The vendor will be responsible for the following: • Remove and dispose of the existing loose fill material from the loose fill area which is approx. 1,300 square feet. • Remove and dispose of existing concrete curbing which is approx. 120 linear feet. Install 4" thick compacted aggregate base and 4" thick concrete slab in area sized to incorporate the safe use zones (approx. 750 square feet) for the swing bays as shown on the attached drawing. Concrete pad should extend 6" beyond the use zones everywhere except where the new walkway connects to the existing play surface and be installed level with the surrounding grade. • Install 5' wide concrete walkway to connect use zone footprint to the existing play surfacing as shown on the attached drawing. The new walkway should be poured 4" thick with a broom finish and should meet the elevation of the existing surface. Install dual-layer poured-in-place rubber surfacing appropriate for 8' fall height within the use zone. Surfacing should then be rolled down to the edge of the concrete base which extends 6" beyond the use zone area. Color: GREEN/BLACK (to match existing rubber surfacing)...
