The College intends to contract for the repairs and improvements associated with the stairs and paver area in the Commons Courtyard and paver area in the Fountain Square north of the Science Building. JCCC is asking for unit pricing for all work items to allow for a selective reduction or increase as budget dictates. To accomplish the project the winning bidder will be required to selectively remove and reset unit paver walkways, adjust the elevation of existing tree grates, selectively demolish a portion of existing concrete stairs and replace, construct new stairs and seating areas over existing concrete stairs, remove recently cut down tree root balls, remove soils from tree planting areas to provide clean pulverized topsoil as specified on plan sheets, adjust pump pit vents, adjust site light pole base sconces and trim grade of adjacent grasses area and replace with sod.
