The Maryland Department of Health, Springfield Hospital Center (SHC) is seeking the services of a contractor to Springfield Hospital Center (SHC) is seeking Integrated Pest management Program (IPMP) services for the period of two (2) years. The reduction and long term control of pests shall be emphasized through inspections, monitoring for pests, collecting and evaluating data, identifying sanitation deficiencies, modifying structures and performing ongoing training for SHC personnel. The service shall emphasize non-pesticide methods of intervention such as portable vacuums, trapping device, and caulking/sealing of cracks, crevices, and holes. Springfield Hospital Center, located at 6655 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, Maryland, is a fully Joint Commission accredited, and CMS certified and is an integral part of the mental health services delivery system of the State of Maryland, providing inpatient treatment for adults.
