4.0 General Cleaning Services: It is the intent of these specifications to describe custodial service requirements for MGA. The primary objective in maintaining clean conditions is to provide a safe, healthy, and pleasant learning and working environment. This environment must be maintained throughout all the contracted facilities in all variations of weather and occupancy. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, inspecting, surface cleaning, deep cleaning, and reporting. See 14.0 Total Bid Amount, for breakdown of square footage by type of space. The following facilities will be cleaned as directed: University Pointe Clubhouse will be cleaned on Tuesday and Friday. The Clubhouse must receive APPA II cleaning, the property is the face of MGA’s Macon housing program. Herbert Smart Airport will be cleaned on Tuesday and Friday. Wellness Center pool area, gym floors, offices and exercise areas are to be cleaned daily. The exercise area should be cleaned and free of dust daily and debris. Stripping, refinishing, and waxing the gym floor is not included in this contract. Lakeview Pointe common areas include the following spaces for cleaning, stairwells, lounge space, restrooms, elevators, mailroom, laundry, and vending. The Volleyball Gym floor will receive periodic general cleaning. The Supplier will buff this floor before each home game or event and clean the bleachers before and after each event or competition. Stripping, refinishing, and waxing the gym floor is not included in this contract. Note: All services provided by the Supplier shall comply with all applicable state and federal laws, and all Georgia Occupational Safety and EPA regulations. This includes established procedures for handling the cleanup of blood borne materials and the cleaning industry management standards. The Supplier will have SDS sheets available in each janitorial closet and will provide updated copies to MGA’s Facilities twice per year or as requested. All chemicals will be CDC approved to clean and disinfect the appropriate surfaces and spaces. As the CDC updates or approves chemicals the Supplier must comply with its standards. Cleaning Scope of Services: It is the responsibility of the supplier to: Verify all cleanable square footage with this scope of work prior to the award. Provide pre-measured chemical dispensers, also called chemical dosing systems in each building installed in janitorial closets.
