1. Excavate/remove dirt from the landslide areas, on the eastern edge of the site, marked in green, and piled into the area marked as “3”. Extreme care will need to be taken around the existing electrical conduits and diesel fuel lines. 2. Areas shown in yellow, which are the first few feet of dirt above the retention wall, scrape another 2’ of dirt such that the dirt is flat above the retaining wall. Again, stack all this in the red area. The purpose here is to create an area where future erosion will not overtake the retaining wall. 3. All dirt relocated should be enclosed with a 4” – 8” retaining wall, depending on how much dirt has been removed. It’s hard to anticipate the size of the brick retaining wall, but it should enclose the dirt that was removed.
