The City of Glendale is seeking three to five qualified consulting firms, or teams (Consultants), to provide general engineering services for improvements to selected transportation projects. The selected firms will provide design, construction cost estimates, and construction administration services. Professional services may include, but are not limited to, various types of transportation projects identified in the Transportation Department’s five-year capital improvement plan, which may include some of the following: 1. Full street/roadway improvements; including intersection widening and/or reconstruction, roadway reconstruction, new medians, streetlights, traffic signals, ITS, signing and pavement markings, landscaping, and other associated street improvements. 2. Right-of-way plans, acquisition, and easement development. 3. Surveying services; construction staking, legal descriptions, as-built surveying, and topographic surveys. 4. Street lighting/ pedestrian lighting, ITS facilities. 5. Cost Estimating (Conceptual Design, Construction and Ongoing Operations/Maintenance). 6. Project management including construction administration, inspection, oversight of construction activities, training, and project close-out documents (e.g.: Record Drawings, O&M manuals, etc.). 7. ITS infrastructure - plan, specifications, and estimates (PS&E).
