A. Model: New, of current production model, and meeting the following minimum specifications herein. B. Type: Tractor Mower with three (3) rotary cutting decks. The cutting decks shall be hydraulically raised and lowered into the transport and mowing positions. C. Demonstration of Mower: The tractor mower as specified herein will operate several hours a day, Monday to Friday, under conditions that may include hilly, uneven terrain, thick bladed grass and wet grounds. The tractor may also be driven on City roadways to other locations. Therefore, in addition to all other requirements herein, the Contractor may be required to demonstrate the ability of the tractor mower offered to perform under said conditions prior to acceptance of the unit by the City. D. Engine: Minimum 72 horsepower, four (4) cylinder, four (4) cycle, liquid cooled, diesel fueled. E. Radiator and Oil Cooler: Agricultural type radiator with easily removable air intake grill and shielding. Swing away oil cooler for easy access. F. Traction System: Hydrostatic drive system. G. Ground Speeds: Transport: 0 – 20 mph forward, 0 – 3 mph reverse. Mow: 0 – 7.5 mph forward. H. Steering: Hydraulic power steering with tilt steering wheel. I. Tires and Rims: Front: Manufacturer’s standard high flotation turf tires on rims. Rear: Manufacturer’s standard turf tires on rims. Spare: One each front and rear tire with rim.
