The purpose of this proposal is to identify and select a qualified vendor(s) to provide specialized equipment, supplies, and services necessary for the operations of GCCISD Police/Security. The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for providing high-quality products and services that meet the unique operational, safety, and compliance needs of the department to include, but not limited to: 1) Law Enforcement Equipment i. Vehicles: Police cruisers, SUVs, or motorcycles suitable for law enforcement purposes, including specific equipment such as sirens, light bars, and communication systems. ii. Body Cameras & In-Car Cameras: High-definition, durable body-worn cameras for officers and in-car camera systems for patrol vehicles. To include features such as live streaming capabilities, data encryption, and long battery life. iii. Radio Communication Systems: Two-way radios, mobile radios, and accessories for seamless communication between officers and control rooms. iv. Firearms & Ammunition: Pistols, rifles, shotguns, and related accessories (holsters, magazines, etc.) based on departmental requirements, ammunition in specified calibers and quantities, including training rounds. v. Tactical Gear: Bulletproof vests, helmets, shields, and riot gear for officers. Must meet national safety standards for law enforcement use. vi. Other Equipment: 1. Traffic Control Devices: Cones, barricades, and signage for roadblocks and traffic enforcement. 2. Tools for K9 Units: Leashes, harnesses, and specialized training equipment. 2) Security Equipment i. Surveillance Cameras & Systems: Closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, including high-definition cameras, motion sensors, and remote monitoring capabilities for public safety areas. Equipment must be suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. ii. Access Control Systems: Keycard, biometric, or RFID-based entry systems for secure facilities or high-security areas. iii. Alarm Systems: Integrated alarm systems for perimeter security, including intrusion detection, motion sensors, and panic buttons. 3) Other Operational Supplies i. Office Supplies & Stationery: Standard office supplies such as paper, pens, file folders, printer ink, and other routine office needs. ii. Safety & First Aid Supplies 1. First Aid Kits: Comprehensive kits for patrol units, including bandages, antiseptics, gloves, and other emergency medical supplies. 2. AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators): For use by officers in case of medical emergencies. 4) Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) i. Uniforms: Police and security uniforms for officers, including shirts, pants, jackets, and footwear. ii. PPE: Gloves, masks, and other personal protective gear (PPE) as required for officer safety and health. iii. Tactical Gear: Equipment for tactical teams such as gloves, knee pads, and elbow pads. 5) Training Supplies i. Training Materials: Manuals, scenario-based training kits, and simulation equipment (e.g., non-lethal weapons, targets) for officer training. ii. Training Services: location rental/usage, professional development services for police training opportunities. Purchases will be made on an as-needed basis. The intent of this request is to establish a list of pre-approved companies or individuals that can provide needed goods/services to the District. If deemed unacceptable or the offered goods/services are outside the scope of this solicitation, no award will be made to the respondent.
