Community College of Aurora is in the process of developing a new CASE (Center for Applied Science and Engineering) Building designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and community engagement. As part of the broader vision for this modern facility, the outdoor spaces surrounding the CASE Building are being enhanced to provide students, staff, and the local community with versatile areas for both study and socialization. To further promote sustainability and create a comfortable, practical environment, the installation of Solar Tables is an objective. These solar-powered tables will serve as functional outdoor study and socialization spaces, equipped with integrated charging stations that allow users to power their devices while enjoying the outdoors. The tables will not only provide a green energy solution but also help promote renewable energy awareness, making them a fitting addition to the forward-thinking design of the CASE Building. These Solar Tables will create inviting, eco-friendly spaces where students, faculty, staff, and visitors can gather to work, relax, or collaborate in a sustainable environment. The goal is to provide accessible, shaded seating areas with the ability to charge electronics, which is essential for modern-day learning, work, and social interaction.
