A. Gas Flow Calibrator: Mesa Mt Lab Series ML-800 Base or equivalent 1. The gas flow calibrator must verify flows in which the gas flow being verified consists of gases that are noncorrosive, noncondensing, noncombustible, and less than 70% humidity. 2. Flow through the calibrator needs to occur via pressure or vacuum. 3. Flow measurements through the calibrator must occur in single, auto, or user-specified bursts. 4. The calibrator must have pressure and temperature sensors in the flow stream to accurately calculate volumes. 5. The calibrator must be powered with an AC Adapter/Charger (12V DC, >500ma, 2.5 mm, center positive, North American standard); and have a battery system consisting of a sealed battery and accommodate 6-8 hours of battery operation. 6. The unit must operate between 15 °C and 30 °C. 7. Storage temperature must be between 0 °C and 70 °C. 8. The unit must operate at atmospheric pressure. 9. A data port with serial RS-232 connector must be present. B. Coated Ultra-Low Flow Cell: Mesa Lab Series ML-800 Ultra-Low flow cell ML-800-3 or equivalent 1. Ultra-Low flow cell must be compatible with the Gas Flow Calibrator listed in “A” above. 2. Required flow range of 0.5-50.0 scc/min with a standardized accuracy of +/- 0.25% and volumetric flow accuracy of +/- 0.002 scc/min. 3. Required that accuracy is stated as a percent of reading (including standardization, if applicable). 4. Gas flow inlets and outlets to the cell must be 1/4-inch ID tube compression fittings. 5. All fittings must be equivalent to Swagelok® fittings.
