Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to provide heavy equipment repair service and parts for the County’s fleet of John Deere Agriculture equipment on an as-needed basis for the entire Contract term. Services or labor may be performed at the Contractor’s shop or on a County assigned location that may include off road areas throughout the County of Orange and some parts of Riverside County. At the County discretion Contractor may be requested to pick up the equipment wherever it is, and have it transported to the Contractor’s location for repairs. Contractor shall: A. Be an authorized John Deere Machinery Technician/Mechanic certified to perform services in line with equipment warranty in order to keep in compliance with manufacturer requirements. B. When performing services that require exchanging/modifying/upgrading or replacing parts, Contractor shall provide Original Equipment’s Manufacturer Parts. C. Be certified to perform recalls and product improvement changes or upgrade. D. Have a full repair facility. E. Be required to work on heavy equipment on County’s property and in the field wherever equipment may be located, on the road or off-road, or at the Contractor’s location, as requested by the County. F. Be available to perform service and repairs during regular work hours (Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm), after hours and weekends as requested by the County. G. Be responsible for performing welding in shop or out in the field as required to complete repairs to the satisfaction of the County. H. Diagnose and perform overhauls and rebuilds.
