Valves must be non-rising stem, have a standard 2-inch square operating nut, and open counterclockwise as viewed from the top. d. Stem seals must be double O-rings permanently lubricated between seals. Lubricant certified for use in portable water. e. Valves must be furnished with all accessories. T-bolts and nuts in accessories kit must be high-strength, low-alloy steel in accordance with AWWA C111 with a ceramic-filled, baked on, fluorocarbon resin coating (i.e. Cor-Blue), or stainless steel. f. Acceptable manufacturer and model: Clow 2639 or 2640 F-6100, Kennedy 8571 SS, Mueller A-2362-20.
