The objective of this solicitation is to identify a contractor to provide and deliver 5,500 tons of Caltrans 3/4” Class II AB rock over approximately 2.8 miles of roadway. Delivery location #1 takes up to 2,000 tons and is approximately 1.5 miles off Highway 50 and Pony Express Trail in Pollock Pines, CA 95726. Delivery location #2 takes up to 3,500 tons and is 7.5 miles on Plum Creek Road off Hwy 50 in Pollock Pines, CA 95726. The rock deliveries shall be performed over the duration of approximately 1.5 months, starting approximately June 1, 2025. The specific schedule and location for rock deliveries shall be coordinated and approved by the District in advance of deliveries commencing. A minimum of four (4) up to eight (8) truck and transfer loads per delivery day must be delivered, unless otherwise directed by District staff. Recycled material is not acceptable. Material must be weed free per U.S. Forest Service regulations
