The feasibility phase of affordable housing development involves gathering the necessary information to assess whether or not an idea has the potential to become a successful affordable housing proposal which will enable HOME’s ability to serve its customer base. • The consultant will aid HOME to identify the need and demand of projects. Likewise, the selected consultant will assist HOME to inform and advise, funders, lenders, and community leaders, that a project is feasible and necessary to address HOME’s goals and mission. • The selected consultant shall conduct an assessment of the project’s affordability. The consultant will also establish the level of rents that would be charged for each project while meeting all rules and regulations applicable to each project.
