The County of San Mateo is requesting proposals from vendors and firms for comprehensive ergonomic program services for approximately 7,000 employees who are engaged in a wide variety of administrative and industrial work functions. The County is seeking to implement a Comprehensive Ergonomic Program aimed at enhancing workplace safety, improving employee well-being, and promoting productivity through ergonomically sound work practices. This program will identify workplace risks, provide solutions, and ensure adherence to relevant ergonomic standards. The contractor must bring expertise in ergonomics, relevant experience, and the capability to deploy a comprehensive program that meets the diverse needs of the County’s workforce. • Office Ergonomics Software o Desktop & Browser platform ▪ Single Sign-On integration ▪ Workday, Inc. integration ▪ Compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA o Access to reporting, management, and analytics for multiple administrative users (approx. 20- 30) ▪ At least 5 enterprise attributes (department, division, position, employment type, supervisor) ▪ At least 2 access levels (superuser, admin) o Hosting for Office Ergonomics Software on Application Service Provider servers including maintenance, support, upgrades, testing, scalability, performance, reliability & security o Strategic support and implementation services o Primary Administrator Support o End-user Technical Support o Support & Maintenance Services, including administrator and end-user trainings • Certified Ergonomic Evaluations o Conduct preventative, workers' compensation, and American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) ergonomic evaluations to identify injury risk factors and recommend custom solutions to prevent and mitigate injury, accommodate disability, and facilitate a smooth transition back to work for injured employees ▪ Perform evaluations at employee's primary workstation ▪ Analyze employee job duties and workflow
