This position will include accounting for the Commission’s tax receipts plus many other duties. 1. Recording the tax receipts each month. There are approximately 250 prepared food vendors and 20 hotels/motels that pay the tax. The taxpayer mails the reporting form and payment to the PO Box. Centennial Bank will get the checks and make the deposit each day, then scan the data to a secured location. The bank will provide the login information to you so you can print the forms and use this information to record the tax receipts. 2. After the end of the month, you will need to review the list of delinquent taxpayers and send notices of delinquency. There is a process in place for taxpayers more than a month delinquent. 3. Field all calls, emails, and in-person visits for the A&P Commission concerning tax collection/payments. 4. Is the point of contact for the future hospitality business in Conway, all permit holders, their accountants, former permit holders that still owe A&P tax, and news and media that request copies of A&P monthly financials and figures, as well as the Annual Economic Census. 5.
