The District seeks proposals from qualified law firms to provide legal services in forming a 7-11 committee for the district to evaluate all school district properties. ● Counsel shall be a current member in the State Bar of California. ● No attorney that will work with the District shall have a record of Discipline by the California State Bar or the Bar of any other state, within the past five (5) years. ● No attorney that will work with the District shall have a record of having a judgement rendered against them for failure to provide adequate legal counsel for a five (5) year period. ● Counsel shall attend meetings as directed by the District including Board meetings, closed session meetings, and other meetings or conference calls as needed. ● Counsel shall represent the District in jury, court trials, or appeals. Counsel may be called upon to retain experts when related to the advice or service requested
