The Town of Florence seeks a contractor to assist with the timely removal of sludge from its sewage treatment plants, ensuring operational efficiency and preventing infrastructure clogs and damage. Using a Septic Tanker Pump Truck, the contractor will be responsible for hauling liquid sludge approximately four (4) miles from the North Wastewater Treatment Plant (3200 N. Pinal Parkway) to the South Wastewater Treatment Plant (100 S. Plant Road). On average, there have been four (4) hauls per month, though the frequency may vary based on plant needs. Expected Deliverables o Must be available for hauling within 24-28 hours’ notice. o Must be capable of hauling 4,000 – 5,000 gallons per truck per load. o The number of loads per trip will depend on plant operational requirements. o Contractor must provide suction and discharge hoses (approximately 60 feet) for loading and unloading. o Hauling must be conducted between 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. o Contractor must be available for emergency hauling services as needed. o Insurance Requirements: $2,000,000 with the Town of Florence named as additional insured
