The delineator post shall be a Shur-Tite brand or approved equivalent. 2.1.1.1 The cylindrical upper portion of the delineator shall consist of primarily HDPE or other approved non-metallic recycled and recyclable material. 2.1.1.2 The delineator and its components shall be treated with a UV inhibitor to prevent decay from the sun. 2.1.2 The delineator post shall be a minimum of 2.25” outside diameter (OD) and provided in 28, 36, 42, and 48” overall lengths. 2.1.3 The delineator post shall have a minimum of (2) 3” x 8” reflective bands consisting of Type V, AR1000 or approved equilivent, material. 2.1.3.1 Delineators will be round with round tops or round with 13” flat tops. 2.1.3.1.1 Delineators with round tops will have sheeting applied to offer omnidirectional reflectivity. 2.1.3.1.2 Delineators with flat tops will have sheeting on front and back. (Two sided) 2.1.3.1.3 Sheeting color will be specified at time of order. Sheeting requested will be of standard color of sheeting manufacturer.
