The contractor's responsibilities: Provide pick-up services upon request from the DOJ LAAGO Office. Provide the labor, materials, and tools to prepare the load for transport. Provide all necessary equipment needed (cart, hand truck, etc.) to move boxes to the dock. Provide all necessary equipment needed (pallet jack, lift gate, etc.) to move and load the pallets onto the truck. Move the boxes from the temporary storage to the building loading docks. Stack and prepare boxes on pallets of sufficient make and durability to support the estimated load for shipping. Shrink wrap pallets. Ensure that the pallets are wrapped tightly to avoid shifting and mixing up the materials during transportation. Move pallets to the truck(s) for loading. Contractor’s trucks must not exceed the loading dock height restriction of 12’6”. Load the pallets onto the truck(s); lift gate required. Transport the load from the LA DOJ office to the Sacramento storage facility. Deliver load at Pacific Storage located at 4601 Beloit Drive, Sacramento, CA 95838. Storage facilities are accessible.
