Painting Contractor is responsible for: 1. Shallow Pool Play Structure a. Prior to painting, contractor will power wash all surfaces to remove build up and debris. b. Scrape any remaining loose paint c. Paint faux finish matching existing color. d. Scrap and recoat the interior and exterior of the large Splash bucket. e. Scrap and recoat the interior and exterior of the shallow pool Mushroom buckets. 2. Pool Painting a. Prior to painting, contractor will power wash, scrape any remaining loose paint, seal cracks and joints within the lap pool, shallow pool and lazy river. Including columns and support structures related to amenities. b. All cracks and joints must be identified, logged and approved by the Parks Director before being repaired or sealed prior to painting. c. Any concrete with significant damage must be identified, logged and approved by the Parks Director before being replaced. 3. Surface Coating (minimum specifications) a. Painting all three pools with two (2) coats of Sherwin-Williams Industrial Catalyzed B62 series high solid epoxy paint, OR, Tnemec Series 161 Tnemec Fascure Polyamide Epoxy, matching existing colors and details. b. Apply non-skid additive to all ramps, submerged concrete steps, and entire Shallow Pool Floor. c.
