The City of Santa Ana (City) is seeking proposals from qualified firms and organizations (Proposers) to provide food service for department personnel, incarcerated persons and commissary services . The City of Santa Ana (City) operates a 502 -bed Jail facility that processes local arrestees and contracts housing for various federal agencies. Meals served to incarcerated persons must meet or exceed federal and state dietary standards. Incarcerated persons must also have the ability to purchase various hygiene, food, and miscellaneous items. Proposers may submit proposals limited to the commissary service or they may provide a combined food service and commissary service proposal. The Police Administrative Building contains a staff dining area. This RFP requires the vendor proposal to include providing services for Department personnel.
