SCOPE OF WORK TASKS 1. Traffic mitigation and control planning in coordination with and per approval by CITY. 2. Catch basin assessments to determine the feasibility of installing catch basin inserts at up to 60 identified locations listed in Appendix A. Catch basin assessments shall include a determination or review of catch basin pipe configuration; catch basin width, length, and depth; contour/slope of catch basin floor, catch basin floor condition (i.e., rough/irregular), maximum storage capacity, lack of clearance for catch basin inserts, flooding potential, and reasons for why a device may not be installed. The assessment information should be presented in a “working” Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet should list the information from Appendix A and, at a minimum, the conditions, as listed above. Provide a catch basin drawing and a minimum of one picture of each assessed catch basin, showing inlets and outlets, and provide pictures showing why installation of a device may not be feasible in specific catch basins. a. If field assessments indicate that any of the 60 identified catch basin locations are determined to be infeasible for installing catch basin inserts, a determination or review of adjacent catch basins to determine installation feasibility is not authorized. CONTRACTOR should communicate to Project Manager that an infeasible location has been assessed, so that Project Manager may identify an alternate location. Additional assessments will be conducted per Optional Services below...
