The City of Oconomowoc is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to remove and replace approximately 2,400 square feet of existing concrete sidewalk squares at various locations throughout the City. Bids shall be accompanied by bid security made payable to owner in an amount of 5% of bidder's maximum bid price in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier’s check. Bidder shall be required to submit a Qualification Statement to owner with its bid. Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in the full amount of the contract price. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the bid deadline. Bid security shall be forfeited to City of Oconomowoc if the bidder is awarded the work and fails to execute the agreement and furnish 100% performance and payment bonds.
