Unit shall use a standalone closed system for sample processing. Have the ability to simultaneously process 1-24 or more samples per run. Instrument must have a dimension no larger than 24-inch x 24-inch x 24-inch (W x D x H). Height dimension included is in the open position. Allow for mechanical homogenization with different beads ranging from 0.1 mm to 5 mm composed of stainless steel, ceramic, or glass. Can reach speeds of 8 m/s or 30 Hz. Have a programable instrument runtime of up to 10 minutes or more. Be compatible with Eppendorf 2 mL microcentrifuge tubes or similar 2 mL snap cap microcentrifuge tubes. Include adaptor for homogenization in 50 mL tubes.
