IV.A General Specifications The City's Public Safety personnel are required to meet the uniform standards that are approved by the City of Surprise uniform policy. The uniforms consist of various clothing types to include by not limited to shirts, polos, pants, shorts, hoodies/sweatshirts/pullovers, jackets, boots, shoes, patches, emblems...etc., and available in various colors. There are three (3) classifications of the uniform styles which are grouped in categories of Class A, B, & C. The City's public safety departments may elect to purchase additional uniform styles to meet the needs of professional service titles: The general specifications for all Class A, B, C must meet the minimum specifications: A. Uniform shall be available in male/female configurations and available to purchase in a variety of sizes and styles, such as long or short-sleeved styles for shirts, or long or short pants/trousers. B. The uniforms must be available in various sizes or may be altered, tailored to accommodate all body shapes and sizes. C. The uniform style and color must adhere to the City Uniform Policy
