The Contractor shall be responsible for and agree to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, machinery/equipment, and transportation necessary required for completion in a superior and professional manner. The Contractor and its employees shall conduct themselves in a workmanlike manner and ensure that they observe and exercise caution and discretion necessary to avoid injury to persons or damages to property of any and all kinds. The Contractor shall cooperate fully with the town in performing the work to ensure that interference with normal operations will be held to a minimum. The approximate mowing season runs from May 1 through October 31. Mowing services shall be performed between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., Monday through Thursday. The Contractor shall provide the Town a target schedule of activities prior to beginning work. The schedule shall provide a monthly overview and weekly breakdown that will identify when the Contractor will be working. The Contractor shall mow as needed to maintain a 4” turf height during the growing season. The Town reserves the right to curtail the mowing during extended drought conditions without penalty. Notice of curtailment shall be provided on Thursday by 2:00 P.M for the following week.
