Calibrations and Preventative Maintenance The Contractor shall: 4.1.1 Provide single-channel calibrations of any pipette that takes one (1) tip, includes dispensers, dilutors, and syringes. The single-channel calibrations shall be performed in pipettes with volume transfer specifications as low as 0.1 microliter and as high as 10 milliliters. 4.1.2 Provide multi-Channel calibrations of any pipette that takes two (2) or more tips. The multichannel calibrations shall be performed in pipettes with volume transfer specifications as low as 1 microliter and as high as 1200 microliters. 4.1.3 Provide electronic calibration certificates prior to return shipment of pipettes; the certificates shall include the following measurements: 4.1.3.1 “As found”: Data collected before the pipette is cleaned or serviced. 4.1.3.2 “As left”: Data collected after the pipette is cleaned and serviced. 4.1.4 Clean, adjust, and lubricate each unit as required to maintain peak operation, such as greasing o-rings, replacing o-rings or springs as part of the preventative maintenance required by the manufacturer standards. 4.1.5 Provide automatic replacement of worn parts in each unit without additional charges as part of the preventative maintenance. 4.2 Repair Services The Contractor shall: 4.2.1 Perform repair service of the pipettes shipped using recognized procedures recommended by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). 4.2.2 Provide a warranty on all replacement parts in accordance with current industry standards...
