Port of Seattle is exploring Proof-of-Concept (PoC) testing one (1) Low-Speed Autonomous Vehicle (LSAV) platform to evaluate public acceptance, and Port readiness between two specific locations at Seattle International Airport (SEA). The Port is seeking a modified golf cart LSAV model due to weight, width and height constraints in the testing location. Selected Supplier to provide a ride-along safety driver to accompany the vehicle and inform passengers throughout the PoC project. The project aims to evaluate customer satisfaction, technical feasibility, operational requirements, and regulatory compliance before considering broader implementation. The PoC project has a firm not to exceed (NTE) cost of $49,999 exclusive of Washington State sales tax. The PoC will run for a maximum of ninety (90) days with findings informing future decisions.
