i. Consultant Services Required: 1. Obtain and review available data and information. 2. Perform site visit/field reconnaissance. 3. Perform survey. 4. Perform Existing and Final Right-of-Way mapping. 5. Perform utility coordination. 6. Perform subsurface investigation. 7. Prepare and develop Preliminary Design Report. 8. Perform pavement design. 9. Perform signing and pavement marking design. 10. Design and submit final plans. 11. Perform lighting design. 12. Design and submit interim structural and traffic maintenance plans (30%, 60%, and 90%) for review and comment. 13. Design and submit final structural and traffic maintenance plans. 14. Perform in-depth constructability review of structural plans. 15. Perform and submit design computations. 16. Perform and submit independent check of structural design. 17. Prepare and submit interim specifications and/or special provisions with the 30%, 60%, and 90% plan submittals. 18. Prepare and submit interim Engineer’s Estimates, including quantities and cost, with 30%, 60%, and 90% plan submittals. Project components may be phased for construction purposes. 19. Prepare and submit final specifications and/or special provisions. 20. Prepare and submit final Engineer’s Estimate, including quantities and cost. 21. Prepare and submit LRFR bridge load ratings for the new bridge(s). 22. Prepare and submit design schedules that may incorporate early construction package releases. 23. Prepare and submit construction schedules at the 30%, 60%, and 90% plan submittal. 24. Participate in up to three (3) Formal Public Meetings. a. Participation includes the preparation, distribution, and presentation of meeting plans and documents. b. These meetings may be held in person, virtually, or a combination of both. 25. Participate in up to twenty-four (24) MaineDOT/Consultant Team meetings. a. These meetings may be held in person, virtually, or a combination of both. b. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, presentation material, and minutes. 26. Assist MaineDOT’s Creative Services Department in its public outreach by providing presentation material, documents, and meeting minutes. 27. Assist with the coordination of services/data provided by MaineDOT and Sub- Consultants.
