General Specifications: • The contractor shall furnish all labor, installation, supervision, equipment, tools, parts, materials as necessary, to provide 33 replacement doors and hardware. • Installation dates must be scheduled in advance with project manager. All work must be completed during Charlottesville City Schools Summer Break (Starts 6/1/25 - Ends 8/12/25) . • Reuse existing mortise locks and cylinders. • Provide commercial grade wood doors for each opening as indicated on floor plan with red circle. • Match existing door finish. Provide sample to project manager for approval before ordering materials. • Doors shall be 1 3/4", Architectural Flush Wood Door. • Doors to be of a similar quality & Characteristics to "Forte Cendura Series 5-Ply Particleboard Core WDMA/AWS Extra Heavy Duty Grade A Veneer.' • Doors Shall be factory prepped to receive all hardware listed in the "Door Hardware Specifications" and any incidental hardware required. • Half door Lite Should be factory cut. All interior glass provided should be clear safety glass. All Door Lite’s should be viewable 43”MAX above finished floor per ADA.
