SCOPE OF WORK: Design and install 2 Basketball Courts with a 5’ wide walking area between courts (Provide pictures of what it will look like). 1. Rough grading includes clearing and grubbing the grass surface. 2. Fine grade one area 100’ x 121’ in preparation for two basketball courts. 3. Install and compact one asphalt mat 100’ x 121’ to include: 4” graded aggregate base, adding water as needed. 4. Install 2” average depth of hot plant mixed asphalt (9.5 mm Type 1SP). 5. Roll and compact the base. 6. Install approximately 442’ of 8’ high fencing, including: 9-gauge black vinyl-coated fence wire, 3” terminal posts, 2-½” line posts, 1-5/8” top rail, 6-gauge bottom tension wire, and gates as needed. All posts are SS 20 heavy-duty with factory-finished powder coating. 7. Apply two coats of black acrylic resurfacer. 8. Apply two coats of fortified Acrytech™ full acrylic playing surface. Acrytech™ Player’s Choice colors to be royal blue for the playing areas and light blue for the non-playing areas. 9. Stripe two basketball courts using two coats of texturized white line paint for all regulation basketball lines (Free throw, lines, 3-pointer lines, half court lines, circle at half court, end lines, and sidelines). 10. Install four (4) 5’ Porter gooseneck basketball goal systems. The basketball goals should be fixed fixedheight system with fan fiberglass backboards. The rims should be heavy-duty rims with nylon nets. The basketball goal's height should be 10 feet from the surface after installation. The goals should be installed according to the high school basketball court's size. 11. LED Lighting for both courts with a timer. This will allow participants to play from dusk to dark during certain hours. (The X’s on Sample 1 are a ballpark of what we need.) Install sixteen (8) 300-watt NextGen LED fixtures on the four (4) 4-inch round steel poles with 22’ mounting height or something comparable. 12. All wiring should be in underground pvc conduit. 13. One light pole close to the gym/parking lot (on the Soccer Complex side) should have outlets on it. The rest of the poles do not need outlets.
