Specifications include, but are not limited to: The primary objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified CISCO partners to provide and install CISCO wireless network controllers to replace our current controllers. All items must be new. Our intent is to move from a controller at each site to a centralized controller (1) model in a High Availability configuration (1) using the CISCO 7510 controller(s) to support up to 2000 WAPs. These new controllers would be located in our District Data Center. The scope of this bid includes the controllers with all necessary parts, licensing, full implementation of controllers and integration of a sample of WAPs, orientation/knowledge transfer, documentation of configurations, and yearly maintenance (with multi-year option)
