The successful firm will handle a range of activities including, but not limited to: a) Work closely with the Beaufort County School District Board of Education, Superintendent, and key staff to develop a detailed strategic plan, to be referred to as the Beaufort County School District State Legislative Program, for acquiring appropriations and funding for the Beaufort County School District. b) Status updates will be presented to the Board of Education on a semi-annual basis or as-needed or required throughout the term of the Contract. c) Work with State Senator Tom Davis and other members of the local delegation to eliminate the disparity of Education Finance Act (EFA) formula and how it impacts Beaufort County School District.
