Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire services, supplies and/or equipment from qualified firms to provide Transportation Management Services, complying with the enclosed description and/or specifications and conditions for the Beaufort County School District. Annual basic services to be provided to each school are for a minimum of 180 days. The District is accepting proposals for the following transportation services: a)All District routes (home to school to home) b)Students with Disabilities routes (including the cost for providing a minimum of one (1) bus attendant for each bus operating a route transporting students with disabilities. Some routes may require two (2) attendants. There are approximately 34 monitors at this time.) c)Alternative school routes d)Before school, after school, summer school, intercession, field trips, athletic activities trips, extracurricular and special events trips e)Operation and maintenance of District-owned ten (10) activity buses and future purchases f)Lease for additional buses to supplement the District activity buses (per bus cost) g) Transportation Services as required by the District
