The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 08 has a requirement for a one-time Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a Contractor to identify and repair 20% of the existing leakages in the ductwork s distribution for the (8) eight Operating Room (OR) Suites. The Contractor shall also perform a Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB) water and air testing balance to leave the area in full compliance with the OR suites HVAC design manual. The goal is to minimize the current air leakages to ensure optimal air quality, required air changes per hours, rooms pressurization, system efficiency, and compliance with latest VA guidelines and safety standards. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement will be 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors), and the Product Service Code (PSC) will be J041 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Air Circulating Equipment). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement with sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This is not a solicitation. In order for a vendor to be found to be capable of fulfilling the Government s requirement, he shall submit technician(s) NEBB certificate.
