Rehabilitationfor reuse of the formerWalleySchool to create aCommunityResources andSenior Center, located at 260 High Street, Bristol, RI 02809. The scopeof work includeslimitedbuilding envelope restoration,exterior entry repairs,andinteriorfinishes on the first floor andadjacent spaces.This building is a major contributorto a NationalHistoric District andcarefulattentionshould be given toprotectingand preservingallelementsof this buildingaccordingtothedocuments. Periodic reviewsby HPHC andLocal Historic will beperformed.Thebuildingiscurrently under constructionwith numerous Owner subcontractorsworkingoff of independentcontracts with the Town.This workincludessiteupgrades, mechanical, electrical, plumbing,firesuppression,communications,exteriordoors, elevator installation,etc. The selected contractorshall work harmoniously withthese existing contractors to providethe Town with a completeproject.
