B. Project Description McCourt Middle School: Cumberland School Department (CSD) plans to work within the existing building footprint to renovate educational areas specific to the science labs and science classrooms. Health and Safety projects include upgrading their security systems. North Cumberland Middle School: Cumberland School Department plans to work within the existing footprint of the current school and focus on revitalizing program areas specific to the science labs & science classrooms. Health and Safety projects at the school include an elevator replacement, new security vestibule and security system upgrades. Cumberland Pre-K: As part of the multi-building High School campus, the Pre-K program will eventually reside at the Transitional Building. The Transitional Building will first serve as swing space accommodating the elementary school relocations during their proposed renovations, before being renovated further to provide for 6 appropriately sized and accessorized Universal Pre-K classrooms. The Transitional Building will see a new exterior playground and necessary health and safety improvements to the security and MEP systems.
Cumberland High School: Will have a significant portion of its flat roof replaced and applicable security upgrades. The impacted roof replacement areas include a portion of the Wellness Center, the main High School Building, Pool wing and Tech wing. The Science Wing will undergo necessary repairs instead of a full replacement. Exact scope of work to be determined based on approved funding. Project Budget (See Exhibit F: CM Control Budget) The following budget is inclusive of the cost of CM fees, CM Pre-construction Fees, General Conditions, and Cost of the Work, CM Contingency, and Escalation. North Cumberland Middle School Security and Science Labs: $1,281,341.00 North Cumberland Elevator/ Security/ PA System: $1,194,335.00 McCourt Middle School PA System and Science Labs: $1,194,346.00 Cumberland Pre-K Renovations and High School Security / PA System: $3,850,000.00 Cumberland High School Roof Replacement: $5,560,547.00
