The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RIDEM) seeks a data manager for the 2025 Rhode Island State Wildlife Action Plan (RIWAP) revision, including reformatting the database to accommodate and easily access all new and revised state and regionally relevant information from the RI Taxa Teams and the documentation of their sources and notes while ensuring the highest data quality. This work will include isolating and reformatting data for upload to the Northeast State Wildlife Action Plan (NESWAP) database and design of the RI database to include a web-enabled interface. The Data Manager will work alongside RIDEM’s Divisions of Fish and Wildlife (DFW), Marine Fisheries (DMF), and Communications to ensure that all products are maximally useful for the RIWAP revision and implementation phases and so that RIDEM can continue to host and maintain the products inhouse once the contract is complete.
