Provide school bus transportation for in state and out of state trips as may be scheduled by various state agencies. General Requirements Buses must be clean and in good operating condition. Failure of vendor to adhere to the State's standards may result in cancellation of the contract. Buses utilized for this contract may be no more than ten (10) years of age Buses must be clean and maintained and all seats operable. Broken and/or torn seats are not acceptable. Buses must be designated and operated as non-smoking buses throughout the contract duration. Vendors must have knowledge of all applicable industry standards, laws, and regulations. Bus drivers must have all directions and itinerary prior to any scheduled trip The vendor is wholly responsible for the specific time schedule and routing to and from all destinations If more than one bus is required for any trip, ALL buses must travel the same exact route to and from destination point Vendors to have the ability to provide a handicapped accessible vehicle in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Times and durations of trips may vary. Trips may have more than one (1) stop.
