Specifications include, but are not limited to: The existing, approximately 1,7310 ft. long steel sheet pile bulkhead at Roger Wheeler State Beach is in a state of disrepair, developing holes, and rotting at grade in the parking lot. The scope of this project includes designing and installing a new bulkhead retaining wall to protect public safety, improve access, protect the public recreation asset, restore habitat, and create scenic coastal views. Overview: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to construct the new concrete boardwalk, in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications listed in the Project Manual. Note, this work will also include the relocation of a municipal waterline in the beach parking lot as part of the boardwalk construction work.
