25-0014 - Owner’s Hazardous Materials Abatement Monitoring Services for Drum Rock

The Warwick Public School Department through the Warwick Public School Building Committee (herein referred to as “The District"), is seeking qualifications and pricing proposals from firms to provide Hazardous Materials Abatement Monitoring services for the abatement of the Drum Rock Elementary School located on the Toll Gate High School campus. The work shall be done consistent with RIDE’s Necessity of Construction Guidelines Stages III and Stage IV, as well as governing local, State, and Federal Regulations.

The abatement and demolition of the Drum Rock School is part of the enabling work involved with the larger project encompassing the phased construction of a new comprehensive Toll Gate High School which is scheduled to commence construction in the Summer of 2025. The new school building footprint overlaps the existing Drum Rock School, hence necessitating the demolition of Drum Rock.

The contract period will begin approximately March 15, 2025.
